PATERSON - Anthony Di Cerbo, 78, died Thursday.

Born in New York City, he moved here many years ago. Mr. Di Cerbo was a distiller in the wine industry before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church.

He was a Fourth Degree Knight-Past Grand Knight of Counsel No. 240, Past Faithful Navigator of Msgr. Stein Council, Assembly Commander of the Color Corp., and was an Army veteran of World War II where he served as a medic.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; and four bothers, John, Steve, Victor and Orlando.

Surviving are his two brothers, James of Paterson, and Mario of Toms River.  

Della Torre Funeral Home, 515 21st Ave., Paterson, is in charge of arrangements.
