Norman R. Pastor, 94, of West Hartford peacefully passed on May 23, 2014. He was born on January 12, 1920 in Boston, MA, the son of Charles and Francis Pastor. He lived many years in Atlantic City, NJ where he met his loving wife of 67 years, the late Mary Ellen Pastor. He was a WWII veteran and lived in New York City for eight years after the war before moving to the Hartford Area in the early 1950's. He was the owner of Capitol Studios Photography and was known as a top photographer in the area. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Bert Levine and Esther Pastor. He is survived by his sons, Stephen and Tod Pastor, his daughter, Danielle Herbert, and her son, Robert O. Herbert Jr. who reside in West Hartford. He will be laid to rest in Pennsylvania next to his loving wife.
