WHITMAN, LAVERN THOMAS, 65, of Land O'Lakes, died Saturday (May 19, 1990) at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Land O'Lakes. He was a heavy equipment operator and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Land O'Lakes Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Leeola; four sons, Clifford Tucker, Land O'Lakes, Paul Tucker, Tennessee, Larry Daugherty and Tarry Daugherty, both of Illinois; four daughters, Linda Bro, Nebraska, Vicke Hale, California, Gail Latham, Illinois, and Tanya Bunting, Land O'Lakes; four brothers, James L. Whitman, Brooksville, and Albin J. Whitman, Tommy Whitman and Levis Graham, all of Land O'Lakes; five sisters, Wilma Lang, Betty Fowler and Ruth Gates, all of Land O'Lakes, Margie Mason, Tampa, a nd Gail Bigica, Ruskin; and 13 grandchildren.
